Kihei, HI (January, 2021) – Mana Pacific, a Hawaii-based sustainable business corporation which prides itself on being a community-focused renewable energy project development firm, has joined the “1% For The Planet” movement as a business member. As a member of this movement, Mana Pacific is joined by Patagonia, Klean Kanteen, Honest Tea, as well as a network of 3,000 other business members.
As a member, Mana Pacific will commit 1% of revenues each year to fund approved environmental non-profit organizations. The movement was founded in 2002 by Patagonia founder, Yvon Chouinard, and Craig Mathews with the mission to “build, support and activate an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet.” As a social impact company, Mana Pacific is aligned with this mission and welcomes the opportunity to join a vast network of business members in supporting the planet which supports us all.
